What a surprise it’s been raining again! With spirits not too dampened by the rain it was time for another of the Kaimai classics, the Waimapu.With the Kaituna River at open gates the raft guides were free to go and play, after meeting up with Zack Mutton, Lucas Quintero, Jure Stan, Rob Collister and Jesper Sorensen, the was no doubt it was going to be a sendy day.
With drops named like Slippery Gypsy, Acid Drop, Scarecase, Petes crack and Forbidden fruit the boys were going to have to be on their A game. The beauty of the Waimapu is the fact it runs right through farm land making portages or hiking back up to run rapids again an ease. This is a must do if its in! #TeamNRS // @Pistyll Productions
