In this video we visit Pinnacles National Park in Central California. This place is a true hidden gem in California, and often gets overlooked by all of California's other scenic parks. We've attempted visits to Pinnacles several times before and had always ended up missing out on parking. This time we got it right though. On this trip, we hike Bear Gulch Trail and end at the beautiful reservoir which provides one of the most classic views of the park. I would definitely recommend visiting the park through the East entrance as this has more parking and is closer to more of the popular attractions. Visiting during a week day is also another plus, as weekends and holidays can be crowded -- and for good reason! There's ample hiking, rocks to rock-climb (which is permitted), condors and turkey vultures to view, and even a cave hike! This is definitely not a place to miss if you're in the area!

This video is part of my Little Moments series of times spent with my family trying to take advantage of the little things around us. With the COVID pandemic moving into it's second year we have missed being able to travel and do our usual trips. Little Moments is a way for us to remind ourselves that there is so much right here in our home.
