In which I turn one-third of a $10 pine crate from IKEA into a pretty great DIY pedalboard.

though I did not follow the author's instructions exactly.

This is an easy project if you have access to a drill, a screwdriver, and a saw. From one crate you can make about two and a half pedalboards - two exactly like this, and one smaller flat board from the leftover piece.

The only other required materials are some L-shaped brackets, some rubber feet, and then (optionally) something to finish or paint the wood with. Adding in a roll of Velcro, I spent about $37 on mine.
