Art and social media don't always mix well. Using these platforms can be a great way to get your work out in the world, but it can also come with a lot of negativity.
In this video I'll go through some of the comments I received on one of my latest pieces and discuss how I approach them and how I try to interact with people online to improve my work.
P.S. Although all comments in this video are real, I have cherry picked them to make a point. the vast majority of the communities I interacted with were very pleasant and helpful, which ultimately resulted in a better final piece.
