Ingredients:
Ladies finger: 300 gm
Potato: 2 nos medium size
Tomato: 1no
Coriander leaves: little amount
Ginger: 1"
Turmeric powder: 1tsp
Coriander powder: 1tsp
Cumin powder: 1tsp
Chilli Powder: 1tsp or as per your taste
Kashmiri red mirch powder: 1tsp
Curd : 2 tsp
Salt and sugar: as per your taste
Garam masala powder: 1tsp
Kasuri methi: 1tsp
Mustard oil
For tempering:
Cumin seed: 1tsp
Black pepper corn: 8-10 nos
Asafoetida: 1pinch
Bay leaf: 1
Red chilli: 1
Procedure:
Wash ladies finger 2-3 times. Cut potatoes into small pieces. Chop tomato. Heat 3 tbsp oil in kadhai, fry ladies finger for 2 minutes and pick it up. Add cumin seed, red chilli, bay leaf, black pepper corn, asafoetida and saute for few seconds. Add chopped potatoes, chopped tomato and fry for a minute, add salt, all the powder spices, add salt, sugar as per your taste, add curd and saute for a minute. Then add fried ladies finger and mix all the ingredients, add water to boil all the ingredients. Add kasuri methi, garam masala powder when the vegetables are boiled. Add coriander leaves before flaming off the gas. The delicious bhindi curry is ready to serve.
