After helping out at the Maghull Hornby Festival earlier this year it reminded me of being with my granddad and operating his layout when I was younger, spurred on by watching the videos for EverardJunction (   / everardjunction  ) and DaveClass47's Dean Park Station (   / daveclass47  ) I have decided to make my own.

The baseboard will be 1.8 by 3 meters with a tunnel on the left side to disguise that it is a loop a little. The track is just the standard lengths and curves (2nd and 3rd radius). I plan to have a small scuttle yard and turntable in the center.

My granddad's fleet were all LMS which I also plan to imitate so that means I will be aiming for 1923 to 1949 time period with appropriate rolling stock. In this video you can see are LMS Coronation Class 6220 The Princess Royal (blue) and 6233 Duchess of Sutherland (crimson).
