When you're looking for an amazing place to do some metal detecting I'd highly recommend a 200+ year old log cabin. Easier said then done to find one still standing though, but this week that's where we landed. This old cabin was upgraded and added on to over the centuries but the original log cabin bones are still there. After the gracious owner gave us a careful tour of the inside I doubt it's going to stand much longer. But it's the surrounding ground that we're most interested in and we're hoping those original residents may have dropped a few cool things and there's only one way to find out!
