Kerajaan negeri Pulau Pinang merancang untuk membina tiga buah pulau buatan yang dikenali sebagai Pulau Pinang Selatan (Penang South Reclamation) di perairan selatan Pulau Pinang. Malaysia's Penang state government plans to build three artificial islands known as Penang South Islands (Penang South Reclamation) in the southern waters of the main island.
