Pico de Orizaba and Itzaccihuatl are the two highest climbable peaks in all of Mexico. Climbing them is great prep for some of the biggest mountains in the world. I was fortunate to make some good friends who are experienced mountaineers.

Many people think Mexico is all beaches and resorts, but I am here to tell you that Mexico is so mucho more than just Cabo, Cancun, Vallarta, and Acapulco. Itza and Pico de Orizaba tower over the central highlands and are some of the highest peaks in all of North America to climb!
