The fall Tautog bite has been on fire in LBI. After a morning full of great fishing, I cook up a keeper tog. This video also includes some underwater footage to help analyze how the Tog bite.
Recipe:
1. Season fish
Blackened Seasoning
Coat fish evenly with:
-Salt & Pepper
-Onion Powder
-Garlic Powder
-Smoked Paprika
-Cayenne Pepper
-Oregano
-Thyme
2. In a pan with butter, let the fish cook for about 3 mins per side.
3. Drizzle spicy butter sauce
Spicy Butter Sauce
-2tbsp butter
-Minced garlic
-Half lemon
-Smoked paprika
-Cayenne pepper
-Old Bay
4. Enjoy
