We went to Taki, Basirhat, West Bengal. It was a short day trip from Kolkata. We had delicious authentic bengali food at Hoichoi restaurant in Taki and then went to Hasnabad for a boat ride on the Ichamati river and went near the India Bangladesh border at Keyapatar Jongol. We saw the Kalindi which passes to Sunderbans and the Bidyadhari river. We saw the Ichamati Nodi which has the imaginary border between India and Bangladesh. It is a fantastic short trip and a day trip from Kolkata. It is among the must visit places in Kolkata.
