Kites are made in a factory using a process called assembly. To start, they use special paper or fabric for the kite's body. They cut this material into the shape of the kite using a big cutting machine, kind of like how you might cut cookie dough into shapes with a cookie cutter.

Next, they attach sticks or frames to the edges of the kite to help it keep its shape. These sticks are usually made from lightweight but strong materials like bamboo or plastic. These sticks are also cut to fit the shape of the kite and then attached with glue or tape.

After that, they add a tail to the kite, which helps it stay stable in the air. The tail can be made of thin paper or fabric strips, and it's attached to the bottom of the kite.

Once all the parts are put together, they add string or twine to the kite so that it can be flown. The string is tied to the sticks on the kite, and it's usually wound around a spool so that it can be easily unwound when the kite is flying.

Finally, they might add some decorative touches to the kite, like stickers or colorful designs. This step is optional, but it can make the kite look really cool!
