HILVERSUM - RECOVERY - On Saturday morning, a female truck driver got her truck stuck in the Beatrix tunnel in Hilversum. The accident caused the tunnel to be closed for a long time.

The incident took place around quarter past nine in the morning. The truck came to a sudden halt, completely stuck.

The employees of the transport company from Zwaagdijk deflated the tires of the tractor unit to be able to drive the combination out of the tunnel. After this was done, the torn open roof of the truck could be secured for transport. The accident drew a lot of attention and caused significant traffic.
