In this video, I will be teaching you how to apply Fiberglass and polyester resin over plywood and protecting it with Gelcoat. You will also learn how to add non-skid, textured Joe coat to your boat restoration project.  I made this video as informational as possible for the ultimate viewer experience. It is important to note the application can be done using polyester, resin, vinyl, ester, resin, and epoxy resin. There are several different non-skid, additives and textured coatings you can do. This does not just have to be for a boat. This can also be for fiberglass pool steps, and anything Fiberglass that has brought you to this video. I would like to add that if you are doing this Fiberglass repair or restoration project and you decide to not use Gelcoat you can simply sand the surface with P 80 grit wipe clean with acetone or a solvent of your choice and use a epoxy primer, rolling or spring and let it sit for 24 hours and then sand the epoxy primer with a P220 grit and apply your acrylic, paint or whatever paint you are wanting to use other than Gelcoat.
