Usai rehat sejenak dari industri rekaman untuk memenuhi tanggung jawab sebagai seorang pelajar, juara Indonesian Idol 2018, Maria Simorangkir, kembali mewarnai skena musik Indonesia dengan karya terbaru yang berjudul Is This Love. Dalam lagu bernuansa Pop/R&B ini, Maria Simorangkir berkolaborasi dengan Rapper kenamaan Indonesia, Willy Winarko. Is This Love sendiri merupakan karya ciptaan Nutyas Surya Gumilang (NSG) dan penyanyi/penulis lagu asal Zimbabwe, Jonah Sithole (Bloodlyne). Proses Mixing lagu ini dilakukan oleh Produser/Audio Engineer asal Amerika Serikat, Daniel Holsinger, yang telah berpengalaman menggarap produksi rekaman penyanyi kelas dunia seperti John Legend dan New Kids on the Block (NKOTB). Lagu ini dapat dinikmati di aplikasi penyedia musik digital terkemuka mulai 9 April 2021.

Maria Simorangkir is a singer from Indonesia who was born and raised in Medan. She is renowned for her powerhouse vocals and her accomplishment as the winner of Indonesian Idol season 9 in 2018. After Indonesian Idol, as a recording artist, Maria has released three singles one of them is Yakin Bahagia which was written and produced by Nutyas Surya Gumilang (NSG) and Lintang Pramudya Wardani. Following the release of her third single, Maria Simorangkir decided to step back for a while to finish her music study at Methodist Charles Wesley school in Medan. Now Maria Simorangkir is back and she is ready to take her throne back with some new music for her fans. Beware, the winner has returned!
