We breed Buff Orpingtons and each year we select new hens & breeding cockerels for our team. In this video we look at the attributes that we assess in the selection process.

Our Orpingtons are self-supporting. We sell excess hens and the sale proceeds cover the costs of feeding the team as well as repairing or buying new infrastructure such as coops. That means selecting the best attributes is incredibly important.
