Ozan is a young punk from Istanbul. He dreams of releasing an album in California. His father is a former musician whose career ended with the coup attempt. On Ozan's birthday, they get into a heated argument about Ozan's future and he abandons his house. His friend Deniz, a music shop owner, informs Ozan about a boat ticket to California the next morning. Ozan and his girlfriend Lara search for the tickets all over the city, from house parties to crazy disco venues in a junkyard, hookah bars, and many other places.
