Get your trout fishing fix as well as your hiking feet moving! Heather Lake is located at the base of Mt. Pilchuck, an easy 2.5 mile hike, and about 1,000 ft of elevation gain. It is open to hike early in the season due to it's relatively low elevation of 2,450 ft. The 17.5 acre lake is 8.5 miles east of Granite Falls off the Mountain Loop Highway, and it holds cutthroat trout.
