Last episode you saw how we machined the Jarrah for the rudder, we ended the episode with a big glue-up. This episode we continue where we left off and shape the rudder first before drilling holes for the copper bolts.
Next up is to make patterns to send off to be cast in bronze. We work on dry fitting the patterns and getting the shapes and sizes right. A quick look inside the foundry before we take home the pretty bronze gear. Lastly the bronze gets a good clean up before being fitted on the rudder and sternpost. We hope you enjoy this episode and let us know what you think in the comments!
