Visible/Invisible: From Words to Images

Peter Brandes is a Danish painter, sculptor, ceramic artist, and photographer. He is the revered artist to the Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and commissioned artist for the Roskilde Cathedral. The cathedral has been the main burial site for the Danish Monarchy since the 15th century and is on the UNESCO world heritage list. Along with his wife, artist Maja Engelhardt, he has contributed to the chapels at Cornerstone University and Biola University, as well as creating stained-glass windows and the world’s largest ceramic urn for the Village of Hope in Tustin, CA.
