I studied accounting and communications because my dad said: "No design ah. Unless you want to be very poor."

I decided to start my business anyways - an online jewelry store. He was like, "You moved back, even though I gave you a better life in Australia." I was like, "No, I think this could really work, dad."

I think my dad didn't talk to me for 7 months. But when Wanterlust+Co got our first article in The Star, my dad cut it out and framed it on the wall.
