I'll warn you now, this episode might be a little boring. I tear into the Blackmer TDX2 fuel pump, only to discover a lack of maintenance prior to my aquisition lead to a pump that needed a complete tear down and rebuild. This was something I wasn't planning on, but no problem! A couple hundred dollars for the rebuild kit and I'd have a pump in a condition that I know and can trust for a long time right? Eh, apparently these pumps are as expensive to maintain as they are to buy. Almost $700 for the rebuild parts- I might have to rethink the pump for the fuel trailer...
