Today we are taking a look at this pretty watercolor set from MIYA: https://amzn.to/31Upoh6 (affiliate link) I was sent this paint set for free for review purposes.
*This is the ceramic palette I used: https://amzn.to/3cVFE7D
Pros:
Price (under $20)
Very transparent
Vivid colors/highly pigmented
Included swatch card
Layers well
Included pencils and round brush that are decent
Pretty and sleek presentation
Cons:
No mixing area (you could use the clear lid but it is not a great option)
No pigment or lightfast info
Bottom line: This is a decent contender for a budget prices watercolor set. You get value here, it holds up to student grade paints from major brands as well as my favorite budget palette (the Pretty Excellent Palette https://amzn.to/3dJpEoI ) and is MUCH better than a lot of the budget paint sold on amazon at a higher price. As long as you don't mind having to have a dish or palette to mix on I think you will be happy with this set.
