After a long ride from Badrinath to Dehradun, I decided to rest at a friend’s place. What was supposed to be a quick stop turned into a 10-day stay due to health issues. During this time, I formed a great bond with my friend's family, especially his son, Unnikuttan.

As I was ready to continue my journey, severe cloudbursts and torrential rains hit Uttarakhand, forcing me to stay put. Once the weather cleared, I finally set off for Manali via Chandigarh.
