In our 'Francis Bacon: First Impressions' series of interviews, each interviewee was asked ‘What were your first impressions upon meeting Francis?’

In this short film London-based fashion designer Bella Freud, daughter of Bernardine Coverley and Lucian Freud, recalls what it felt like, as a young person, to meet Bacon. Bella also offers insight into Bacon and Lucian's relationship.
