Dr. Christopher Mason is a geneticist and professor of biophysics at While Cornell Medicine, investigator on many NASA missions and projects, including the famous Twin Study with Astronauts Scott and Mark Kelly as well as being part of the first team to sequence genes in space. Most importantly though, he’s a big thinker and dreamer with a plan. He’s the author of ‘The Next 500 years: Engineering Life to Reach New Worlds’, where he outlines a 10 phase plan rooted in biotechnology to make humankind a multiplanetary species.
