I acquired some JetDock cubes and connectors to make a floating dock for my SeaDoo Challenger 230 boat. There are 91 cubes total (I added another row after the install) that I brought to the water in three sections. Once they were off the trailer, the sections were joined and set afloat in the canal. Ropes were used to drag it into the dock area, and I secured it with 1/4 inch steel cables to the pilings.
Each full cube weighs 14 lbs, half cubes a little less, plus all the connecting pins, brings the dock weight to about 1300 lbs. The full cubes each provide 200 lbs of flotation, so there should be at least 15000 lbs of flotation supporting my 3500 lb boat.
