In 1998, the Fountain of Wealth was listed by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest fountain in the world. Back then, Suntec City was also the biggest shopping mall in Singapore. How apt! The biggest fountain in the biggest mall.

Why is it called the 'Fountain of Wealth?'
You can see that there's a bronze ring at the top of the mountain where water is flowing inward. This inward motion of the water symbolizes life and wealth pouring into our lives and into us (In Chinese culture, water signifies life and wealth). Hence, the name 'Fountain of Wealth'.

The Fountain of Wealth consists of circular silicon bronze ring with a circumference of 66 meters that's resting on four large slanted columns. It has an area of 1683 square meters and a height of 13.8 meters.
