Southern Oregon Historical Society is rehabilitating a 1946 Ford Fire Engine that started its life in the Ashland Fire Department. Sold to a private party in the 1970s, it's spent its retirement with a family who used it in a wedding in 1992 and then was parked alongside the Rogue River for many years. SOHS Volunteers will be getting this great old vehicle roadworthy again for the enjoyment of Southern Oregon in parades and public events.
