This video shows you how to build your own surprise glitter package. Inspired by former NASA engineer Mark Rober's video, this glitter package design is much simpler. No advanced electronics or programming skills are required. Making your own surprise glitter package makes a great #science or #engineering project for students just getting started with circuits.

Note: This video is an example of how students can use the engineering design process to think through a way to use #STEM to simplify and simulate the kind of glitter package shown in Mark Rober's video.

Students doing this kind of project should take safety precautions when testing and should only test their glitter package with people who know what the package contains. We advise you not to try this on real criminals. That is dangerous and could get you in trouble!
