It is time for a new power desktop computer that I can use to create and edit videos for my channel. My old one is getting old and tired. I will be building my own gaming type machine that is good for gaming, content creation, photo and video editing and just all around general usage. My goal is to make a new build and move my existing Windows 10 installation over from my old computer (per retail license rules) and set it up in a RAID1 mirror array for redundancy on the SSDs.

This video is to take a look at the parts that are currently available to build a new high performance Windows 10 or 11 machine. I will review the parts that I have selected and explain why I chose them. I will show where these parts should stack up against published benchmarks.

Components chosen:
AMD CPU Ryzen 9 7900x
Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX ATX AM5 LGA1718 Motherboard
ANTEC P10 Flux Case
GSkill Trident Z5 NEO RGB 64GB DDR5 6000
ASUS DUAL GeForce RT 4070OC 12GB DDR6X
Seasonic FOCUS GX-850 80+ GOLD 850 Watt power supply
be quiet! PURE LOOP 2 360mm All IN One Water Cooling System
WD_BLACK SN850X NVMe M.2 2280 2TB PCI-Express 4.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) WDS200T2X0E
