So far, we’ve climbed up to 12,000 feet on Kilimanjaro, chased zebra down the trail, bushwhacked across the savannah, and ridden through remote Maasai villages. It's been wild, it’s been life changing and we’ve found ourselves challenged in myriad unexpected ways.

One way that we haven’t yet been that challenged is the technicality of the terrain, but that’s about to change. Today’s stage is rough, rugged and unmanicured – raw and difficult in ways that even the most technical of purpose built mountain bike trails can’t hope to rival. One might say this stage brings us back to the roots of mountain biking -- which is to say, using your bike to get somewhere it has no business being.
