Welcome back for the second part of our simplest version of a lidded pot! Here we will show how to make the lid and ensure it has a nice fit using your calipers. We love this lid because you throw it, leave it to dry, and it's done. For a lid, it is very low maintenance! The actual lid made in this video did turn out a tiny bit large for the flange, but if that happens don't worry. You can adjust it by sanding the edge in a rounded motion with your tool of choice until the lid fits nicely. We used a Surform Shaver and then some sand-paper to smooth out the edge and now it fits very well.
