A slip stitch around the edge of your crocheted work adds a lovely finishing touch without adding any more height to the work. It works up quickly and easily. You are simply chaining around an outside edge, attaching it to you work as you go along. I decide to end the slip stitches at the dress and sew on a length of ribbon as fasteners for the dress. The chain tie was too bulky for a baby dress in my opinion.
