He was recently recognized by FIFA and AIPS (the International Sports Press Association) for his contribution to reporting on eight consecutive FIFA World Cups and a prominent voice for US and women’s soccer. An advocate for the LGBTQ community and a passionate storyteller who sought to uncover the truth and tell the story of those at all levels of the game.
