Today, I will show you how to paint two pictures with different material on the same topic. Many students are asking what is the difference between watercolor and acrylic painting. Therefore, I will paint landscape in watercolor and acrylic follow one after another on the same paper. Both materials have similar and different characteristics.
1)Similar characteristics: Water base and dry quickly.
2)Different characteristics: Watercolor can be painted only on the
paper. In case of acrylic, we can paint not just on the paper, but on
the wood fabric plastic, even metal. One more different thing is
that watercolor can be dissolved the paint with water after dried,
but acrylic can not be dissolved with water after dried.
One more tip: In Watercolor Painting the colors to be painted from bright area to dark area. Contrary, In Acrylic Painting, the colors to be painted from dark are to bright area.
