In part 5 and our final part of the grass care series we take a look at creating silage bales and bulk silage in a silage silo/bunker. We demonstrate the use of different silage bale wrappers as well as how to make silage in a open silage silo and what tools to use to level and compact the chaff before covering it. Also we talk about how long it takes to ferment into silage.
