On a beautiful spring weekday morning, I recorded this while cycling approximately 10 kilometers from Kita Ward to Ukyo Ward in Kyoto City. This one-hour journey captures the ride from north to south.

It's an ordinary day with nothing special happening. The ride starts along a main road and then meanders through quiet residential areas. The consistent sound of the bicycle makes for a perfect background for work or study. Occasionally, I stop for a drink. There really is nothing particularly special about this recording, making it ideal for subtle background music.

You'll hear the sound of cars, some human voices, traffic lights, and train crossings. The sections along the main road can be a bit louder, so feel free to adjust the volume to your preference.
