Manu Thomas, the former district committee member and DYFI President from Kannur, has openly criticized the growing right-wing influence within the CPM in Kannur and across the state. He highlighted issues such as the tendencies towards deification, the party's connections with the quotation mafia and social media gangs, and the ongoing problems of the SFI and DYFI.
