Part of a peal at this beautiful church on Saturday 15 October 2016
Decent (especially the back bells) Whitechapel peal of bells from 1987 replacing a slightly heavier 1895 ring (~17cwt in E) by Mears & Stainbank.

The building dates from 1853 with the interior rebuilt 1879-1882 after a fire.
Its bells are among the most pealed in Ireland.

The back six are very good (apart from the 5th which requires a stronger pull) and they're the bells we ring every Sunday (as we only have six ringers). The middle six, however... Well, I like to call them the 'Devil's Bells'.
Additionally the trebles are very shouty, especially when entering from the Castle Street roundabout.
