I recently visited Ghana after not having been there for 6 years! I used to visit Ghana every 2-3 years, but took a larger break from visiting. The last time I visited Ghana was in 2017, which was around the time the "December in Ghana" movement was just starting, but the big rise of December in Ghana happened years after that. Ghana has changed so much since I last visited, and this was my first time visiting since Afrobeats music has taken over the world. I was so impressed with what I saw, and I intend to visit Ghana more often. I visited places like Bloom Bar, Afrochella/Afrofuture (Davido, R2Bs and Adekunle Gold performed), Bondai, Mokas, Accra Mall, Melcom Mall, Cupcake Boutique The Octagon, and more.
