This is a heritage center. 2 kms away from Adagooru of Hassan district. Doesn't look like it comes under either Mujarai or ASI , no one to look after this place. I got to know from an article that there is a place called kashipura. Apparently it was a leaning ceter. All around its green with many farms. Saw a ruins from the distance. Not even sure this is the right path to go there. Let's go and see whats there. 1 km after Adagooru take a left turn at Umadevihalli. a walking path can be seen. Saw a ruin. Parked the car there and I am walking.I am loving this walk. You can't find about this temple in google map. All around can see only farm land.There is a tank and is called as kashipura tank though kashipura village doesn't exist today.
This temple complex has 2 temples for Shiva and Vishnu. No idol, no worship. Its carvings on the pillars are an amazing work. Its like a workshop to learn. They are not ornate but looks like someone was learning here. Very primitive. It has animals, birds, plants, flowers , tantric postures, gods etc carved on the pillars.
It also has a paatshala, class room mantapa. All around corridor to accommodate students i guess.
Unfortunately in total apathy by locals and the government.
