Bolivia - a country with a rich history and culture, is currently facing serious economic problems. Located in the heart of South America, it is home to diverse cultures and stunning natural resources, from the Uyuni salt flats to the ancient ruins of Tiwanaku. Bolivia is fortunate with its resources, having some of the world's largest reserves of lithium, gold, silver, gas, oil, tin, tungsten, iron, amethysts, and much more. It was in Bolivia that the communist terrorist Ernesto Che Guevara was killed, who had come there to carry out another socialist revolution.

However, behind this beauty and natural wealth hide deep economic problems. The country faces high levels of poverty: 36% of Bolivia's population lives below the poverty line. It also has an unstable economy that depends on commodity prices. Approximately 16% of children in Bolivia suffer from chronic malnutrition. So what is happening in such a resource-rich country? What is the cause of the economic and political collapses in recent years?
