Join me as I experiment to see which tumbling media - sand or stage 1 60/90 grit - makes better faux sea glass using marbles and other glass pieces. I use my rock tumbler to transform marbles into pretty frosted glass. One tumbler barrel is filled with sand and the other is filled with grit. Which do you think will create better sea glass with the marbles? Will they look the same or will some be more colorful and others more frosted and rough in texture?
