Perro de Presa Canario, J7's Lola at approx 17-18 months of age. Lola is from the breeding of J7's Romper Stomper to J7's Kelly.

She has received socialisation and rudimentary obedience training. To date she has had no imprinting, training or prior evaluation for suitability in sport/protection and her owner is also new to the concepts of such work.

This session conducted by Mr. S. Gill of 5K Security (www.5ksecurity.com) is an initial forray into identifying her genetic instincts, drive patterns, stability and also to help her owner identify her thresholds to different stimuli. To encourage a single, firm grip and promote training through prey-based techniques in order to promote an open, balanced dog and discourage an overly sharp, more difficult to control dog.
