I am here to repair, a couple water leaks, on a hot water boiler. The Relief valve leaks, and a drain valve drips. Therefore I have to replace both. This boiler relief valve looks like it’s been leaking for a long time. The hardest part of this Heat repair, the relief valve piping is soldered. Therefore I will have to disconnect the piping with a torch or coding. Replace the leaking relief valve. Then sweat the pipe together. I start off by draining down that section of the boiler. Drain valve comes off very easily. Next I disconnect and remove the relief valve. Install new release valve. Test boiler with new components.
