The aim of this project is to encourage students to use their structural knowledge and creativity to solve practical problem in building small model bridge and encourage effective communication between group members.

The students are encouraged to find the properties of the material use such as tensile and comprehensive strength and modulus Young using appropriate methods. Modelling of the bridge can be carried out using LinPro free software where the forces in the members and deflection can be analysed.
