Sector 1 is the biggest sector of Chandigarh. There are many important places which are located here includes tourist destinations like Sukhna lake, Rock garden, Bird park. There are govt buildings like Punjab and Haryana High court, Punjab and Haryana Secretariat, Punjab and Haryana Vidhan Sabha Bhawan, Punjab Raj bhawan, Haryana Raj Bhawan, State guest house. Leisure places like Chandigarh Golf club, Chandigarh club, Rajendra park, Lake sports club.

I enjoyed whole day with family in sector 1 and it was the first time we visited bird park and it was really awesome.
