ভারতবর্ষে কিছু সংস্থা আছে, যার নাম প্রজন্মের পর প্রজন্ম ধরে বাচ্চা থেকে বয়স্ক সবাই জানে। বিএসএনএল ভারতের এমনই একটি সরকারি সংস্থা। সেই টেলিফোনের প্রথম যুগ থেকে বর্তমানের স্মার্টফোনের সময় - বছরের পর বছর ধরে এই নামটা ভারতে প্রচলিত। অনেকেই বলেন খুব খারাপ পরিষেবা, কর্মচারীদের ব্যবহার অত্যন্ত খারাপ আবার কেউ বলেন, যে জায়গায় কারুর টাওয়ার পাওয়া যায় না সেখানে বিএসএনএল-এর টাওয়ার আছে। সবটাই সত্যি। কিন্তু এখন শোনা যাচ্ছে সেই বিএসএনএল - ভারত সরকারের অন্যতম বৃহৎ একটি সংস্থার অবস্থা এখন এতই খারাপ যে এই দরজায় তালা ঝুলতে চলেছে। কিন্তু এই সিদ্ধান্ত কি সঠিক? তারই বিভিন্ন দিক নিয়ে কথা হবে আজকের পর্বে।
