Jayce's hammer, Caitlyn's rifle, Vi's hextech fists, Ekko's pipe, Jinx's Pow-pow and Fishbones -- these weapons all embellish important character elements. They provide characters fun and dramatic vehicles for expressing personality, like Caitlyn's directness, or even act as symbols for conflicts, like Jinx's oversized unwieldy guns. With character pairings like Vi and Vander or Viktor and Jayce, the show is creating a basis to compare and contrast. It's a fantastic collaborative effort on the part of Riot's original character design crew and the Arcane writers and animators. Weapons aren't just props, they can be vital tools for storytelling as well.
